Swansea IL Wedding Pictures

A little rain outside on Saturday didn't slow us down from taking some great images. We were hoping for nice warm weather to do great outdoor shots, but we got misty cold instead. The bride grabbed her umbrella and we went outside - we got some great images even in just a couple minutes. The first few images are some of the photojournalistic stuff I got, and the last image is one of my favorite outside shots.

Boys Basketball Championship Game Photos

From tipoff to the very last second this was an intense game. This was my first state game, and I couldn't believe the skill these kids had. I put together a video for the game that had my favorite pictures.

Boys High School Basketball Pictures And High School Girls Volleyball

I shot this sporting event last week. It was for a smaller school, so I was able to get shots of JV and varsity basketball as well as girls volleyball. The school I was shooting won all 3 games. Here are some of the boys in action.

I got shots of the girls in action too, but they seemed so excited about some of the other shots that I'll post those here instead. I'm not even sure that girls care as much as guys do about getting great action shots.

Fairview Heights Wedding Photography

Just before we headed off to convention, we had a wedding last week. We've done weddings before at this church in Fairview Heights, and there were familiar faces at the wedding. During the ceremony, we got to learn a little more about the bride and groom's story. I always love a great story. We got some fun pictures too. My favorite was the bubbles shot where I got some pretty cool sun flare going on. Artsy, but I think the bride and groom will like it.
