Repaving the Driveway

We just got the driveway repaved and added an extra parking spot at the end of the driveway. It looks like a completely different driveway now. I'm impressed by the difference.

Swansea IL Wedding Photography

The wedding this last weekend was a big one. I'm guessing close to 300 guests. With the wedding in a church in Swansea and the reception on base at Scott, there was plenty for the guests to enjoy. Larissa and I were happy to have a bride that wore a smile the whole day. That definitely made our job easier, plus it meant we got great photos throughout the day.

St Louis Spaghetti Factory and Walking Park

It seems like these downtown shoots are becoming more popular for us. Which is fine with me - I have a great time wandering the streets of St Louis with a camera. We planned this shoot to include some night time shots, and I love night time shots.

Forest Park Engagement Pictures

Yesterday we were out at Forest Park doing an engagement session. We started at the Jewel Box, then went to the Muny, down to Art Hill, and finished up at some fountains close to the zoo. This is going to be a fun wedding for taking pictures. These guys were naturally good in front of the camera. Plus we got a new impromptu pose - it's kind of like that kissing scene from the Spiderman movie. It was amazing.

Wedding At The Falls In Columbia IL

A wedding is always more fun when you're with a wedding party that knows how to have fun. The groom cracked me up - this guy had personality and jokes to last through the night.

This was the first wedding we've done at the falls since I got my new camera, and I wanted to try some low light shots near the waterfall and outside. I was once again impressed by how well the camera performed in the low light scenario. Here are some of the shots that made the top of my list.
